Trade Futures Using Tested Trading Systems
There are typically two types of traders, those that wish to build, design, and trade their own systems, and those that wish to trade a system that someone else has built. There are many systems vendors out there, but not all of them are equal. Murray Ruggiero, Chief Systems Designer and also founder of TradersStudio, believes that you must first understand a system before you can trade it. Logically this makes sense. Evaluating a system does two things: 1) it lets you see if the system is, indeed, any good and 2) it lets you think about the system and have more confidence in it so that you’re willing to stick with it when it makes one or two bad trades.
In order to evaluate a system you must not only be able to see the backtested results, but you also need to see the code to the system and understand the decisions that it makes. Understanding the core logic to a system allows you to evaluate it and decide if it’s something you would like to trade. This is the first and most important step to trading a tested system. Understand it first, then trade it. Even though the world of futures trading may seem both exciting and daunting at the same time, first taking the time to review a system will make life easier (and hopefully avoid costly mistakes) down the road.
TradersStudio lets you see the source code all the systems sold on this site. See the list to the right for some of our most popular systems. You can just purchase one of these turn-key solutions from this website and you can verify the system results using our award-winning backtesting platform. When you’re ready to trade, naturally you can trade it yourself, or we would be happy to put you in contact with one of our TradersStudio Partners who can trade the system on your behalf.
